Description
Participants will be guided through the three principles of translanguaging, using the updated WIDA standards, and great strategies to provide Tier One instruction across grade levels and content areas.
Objectives
- Understand the principles of translanguaging and updated WIDA standards
- Explore strategies that support Multilingual Learners with reading, writing, speaking, and listening to develop English language proficiency
- Plan for opportunities to implement the addressed topics into Tier 1 instruction
