Full course description
Special Education Teachers new to JSD will develop an awareness of common standard tests given by School Psychologist’s, SLP’s, and other services providers that determine a student’s eligibility. Each participant will then review a case file from their school and present data that supports a classification.
This class is required for all Resource and Self-Contained Support Classroom Teachers who are new to Jordan School District.
This is a two-part course and all is done online. You must complete both parts and upon doing so will be paid for 7 hours of professional development.
October 2, 2025 - November 4, 2025 you will complete a series of modules in Canvas at your own pace.
AND
November 17 - 21, 2025 you will sign up for an individual online conference during this week to present a case file from your school.
