This training will be held on Wednesday, September 4th 4:15-7:15pm at JATC South 12723 S. Park Avenue, Riverton, Utah 84065
3-hour in-person training with subsequent classroom observation and reflection assignment.

- 3 hours of inservice pay for attendance and observation
The Heggerty curriculum is "a systematic program of daily lesson plans that focus on six to eight phonemic awareness skills per level. Lessons also include activities to develop letter and sound recognition, phoneme-grapheme connection, and language awareness." This curriculum is used for tier one phonemic awareness practice in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade in Jordan School District. The training's purpose is to familiarize educators with the program and provide opportunities for them to practice the skills.
