The JSD Proficiency Scale Exemplars Hub provides K-12 educators with convenient access to district-developed proficiency scales aligned with JSD Power Standards and the depth and rigor of the Utah Core Standards.
This is not a traditional course with required modules, assignments, or a defined completion sequence. Instead, it is an ongoing resource hub that educators can visit whenever they need support with proficiency-based learning and planning.
Educators may use these exemplars in whichever way best supports their work:
• Reference them as a quality check when reviewing existing scales.
• Refine or adapt them to fit specific students and instructional contexts.
• Adopt them as written to support consistent expectations and clear pathways for student success.
