This self-paced Canvas course is intended for teachers and any individual who is involved with Utah Aspire Plus test administration. This fulfills the yearly Utah Aspire Plus test administration requirement.

According to Utah State Law and Jordan District Policy each school building is required to have three individuals certified in CPR. Qualified employees should sign up to complete their certification by attending a 2-hour skill check session with our district nurses.

This self-paced Canvas course is intended for teachers and any individual who is involved with RISE test administration. This fulfills the yearly RISE test administration requirement.

Do you like reading books for tweens and teens? Join us for our yearly look at the state of children's literature and read brand-new books. Classes are held on Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30pm at South Jordan Middle School: March 5,12,19,26, April 16, 23, 30, May 7 (class share night)

This course is for all staff members who were certified in MANDt in June, July, or August 2024 and wish to keep their certification current for the upcoming school year.

LETRS Unit 8 training for teachers

This course is for all staff members who were certified in MANDt in June, July, or August 2024 and wish to keep their certification current for the upcoming school year.

By the end of this course, educators will be equipped with strategies to add rigor to their instruction and differentiate content and assessments by leveraging the Depth and Complexity Framework in meeting the diverse needs of their students.

LETRS Unit 4 training for teachers

Staff who participated in a full certification or recertification ASPEN training last school year will be required to take an ASPEN recertification class this year. A.S.P.E.N. is a student behavior training program.

LETRS Unit 8 training for teachers

First-year staff and those who have not previously completed the full certification. A.S.P.E.N. is a student behavior training program. Location: ASB Presentation Room 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Cultivating Classroom Management Skills ETT is a 7-week asynchronous course, so you have some flexibility when completing each module.

We are excited to have scholastic provide an impactful training. Scholastics' goal is to provide resources to strengthen family engagement practices to increase student academic achievement. They will work with you and your school on building the capacity of educators to understand the link between family engagement and student achievement, prioritizing family engagement as an instructional strategy, and aligning partnership practices to school and district goals to improve student academic achievement. In this workshop, you will hear from our Parent and Engagement Outreach specialists and the goals we have for JSD.
